Stebbins Cold Canyon is a natural reserve area within UC reserve system, located in the Blue Ridge Berryessa Natural Area. The landscape was burned by the Wragg wildfire in July of 2015. Nearly a year and half after the fire, the landscape was blanketed in new growth and yet the effects of the fire are still in clear view. The stark black bones of burned manzanita stand prominently. Light sensitive cyanotype fabric was installed on location to be witness to the sunlight, the wind and the shadows of surrounding forms.
